Born and brought up in Central Travancore, Mr. Anil laid a strong foundation through his education before moving to Dubai, where he built a successful career in the interior and construction industry. During his years in the UAE, he worked with reputed interior companies, handling multiple roles that exposed him to international standards, advanced project management practices, and premium design execution. This diverse experience helped shape his deep understanding of design, execution, quality control, and client-centric delivery.

In mid-2012, driven by a clear vision and entrepreneurial ambition,  Mr. Anil returned to his homeland and founded  DesignPlus. What began as a focused design initiative has today evolved into a full-fledged turnkey solutions company offering architecture, interior design, and contracting services under one roof.

Under his strategic leadership and hands-on involvement, Design Plus has successfully completed over 200 projects across South India, spanning residential villas, apartments, commercial complexes, resorts, and renovation projects. His ability to blend creativity with technical excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery has earned the trust of clients and positioned Design Plus as a reliable name in the industry.

Ms. Ashila Anil is a highly accomplished Resident Engineer and Director at Design Plus, representing the new generation of engineering leadership driven by excellence, innovation, and professional integrity. She plays a key role in overseeing project execution, technical coordination, and on-site quality management across the company’s diverse portfolio.

Born with a strong academic inclination and professional ambition, Ms. Ashila pursued her Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, graduating with an outstanding 98% marks—a remarkable academic achievement. She was honored as the Best Outgoing Student of Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, a recognition that reflects her exceptional academic performance, leadership qualities, and dedication to engineering excellence.

At Design Plus, she actively handles the Project Division, ensuring that every project meets high standards of structural integrity, quality control, and timely delivery. Her hands-on approach, technical clarity, and ability to coordinate between design, execution, and site teams make her a critical pillar of the organization’s operations.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Ashila is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA), further strengthening her expertise in management, strategy, and organizational leadership. This combination of strong technical knowledge and advanced managerial education positions her uniquely to contribute to both operational efficiency and long-term strategic growth.

Project Director - Mr. Aby Thomas is a seasoned construction professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in building construction, interior execution, and joinery works across India and the Middle East. A civil engineering specialist by profession, he brings deep technical expertise, disciplined project management, and hands-on execution excellence to every project he oversees.

At Design Plus, he plays a pivotal role in translating design intent into flawless reality. Known for his attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to deliver projects on time, Mr. Aby Thomas ensures that every Design Plus project meets the highest benchmarks of craftsmanship, safety, and durability.

Project Co-ordinator - 

Mr. Thomas Raphel is an experienced construction professional with over 40 years of industry expertise, including extensive experience in the Gulf region. His long-standing career spans residential, commercial, and high-end interior projects, where he has played a key role in coordinating project activities and ensuring smooth execution on site.

Mr. Thomas Raphel serves as Project Coordinator, bringing discipline, clarity, and hands-on coordination to every project. His deep understanding of construction processes, site management, and inter-team coordination ensures that projects progress efficiently while maintaining quality standards and timelines.

Mr. Radhakrishnan, Site Supervisor, plays a vital role in transforming designs into reality through disciplined execution and close attention to detail.
